Why Inventory Depth Matters
In the semiconductor market, availability is as important as specification. An engineer can select the ideal STM32 for a motor drive, only to lose weeks when the part is out of stock and on a long factory allocation. Distributors exist to absorb exactly this risk, but absorbing it requires deliberate inventory strategy rather than opportunistic buying. This expansion of BeiLuo's STMicroelectronics stocking programs is a direct response to what customers told us over the past two years: embedded projects are moving faster, and production lines cannot wait for a broker to source a part at a premium.
What the Expansion Covers
The new stocking programs add mainstream ST models across the lines our customers design in most. On the MCU side, the program covers STM32 devices including the Cortex-M4 STM32F407VGT6 and the high-performance Cortex-M7 STM32H743VIT6. On the power side it covers STPOWER MOSFETs such as the STP110N8F6 and STP60NF06 and IGBTs such as the STGW60H65DFB and STGW40V60DF. For sensing it covers MEMS parts including the LIS3DH accelerometer and the LPS22HB pressure sensor. The list was not chosen at random; it combines our own sales history, the design activity our FAE team sees, and the open order backlog, so the inventory mirrors what is actually being designed.
Coverage of the Full Signal Chain
An embedded product does not stop at the microcontroller. A motor drive needs the MCU, the power stage and the gate drive; a sensing node needs the MCU and the sensors; a power supply needs the switch and the controller. By stocking the parts that appear together in real bills of materials, we remove the classic failure mode where the MCU arrives but the power device is on allocation.
Regional Warehouses and Delivery
Stock is staged across regional warehouses so that delivery time scales with geography rather than with customs clearance. Customers in manufacturing regions can expect same-week dispatch for standard orders, with the import documentation prepared before the goods move. Every lot is date-coded and traceable back to the original factory shipment, which matters for projects subject to quality audits.
Documentation and Compliance Support
Volume buyers know that the paperwork can delay a line as easily as a missing part. Every stocked item ships with the import declaration and, where applicable, the certificate of origin and RoHS compliance documentation. For customers who export finished goods to regulated markets, the audit trail from distributor stock to final product answers compliance questions before they are asked.
Pricing and Supply Agreements
Inventory is only half of a supply arrangement; the other half is the commercial framework around it. For programs with forecastable demand, we offer supply agreements that lock pricing for a defined volume window, with periodic review aligned to the semiconductor cycle. This gives purchasing teams budget stability while preserving flexibility as the forecast develops.
What This Means for Customers
The practical effect is shorter lead time and lower risk. A customer who designs around a stocked model can move from prototype to pilot production without waiting out a factory lead time, and can hold smaller safety stock because the supply point is closer and more predictable. Engineering teams also benefit, because the FAE team can recommend stocked alternatives from the same family when a design target changes.
How to Check Availability
Availability status is published for every stocked model in the product catalog, and the position is refreshed against warehouse records rather than static lists. Customers who need a firm delivery date can raise the requirement through their account manager, who will confirm the lot, the packaging and the documentation before the order is placed. For models still on factory allocation, the FAE team can identify the closest stocked alternative and support the requalification.
Next Steps
Customers can check current availability by contacting their BeiLuo account manager or by browsing the product catalog, which now reflects the expanded stocking status for each part. The expansion is the first of two phases; the second extends the same approach to the STM32 low-power lines and to SiC power devices. We will announce the second phase on this news page when the stock is in place.
