STM32H743VIT6
Cortex-M7 microcontroller at 480 MHz with 2 MB flash and 1 MB RAM for demanding embedded applications.
The STM32H743VIT6 is an STMicroelectronics Cortex-M7 microcontroller running at up to 480 MHz with 2 MB of flash and 1 MB of RAM, including tightly coupled memory for deterministic code and data, in a 100-pin LQFP package. The Cortex-M7 core includes a double-precision floating-point unit and cache, which delivers the compute and memory bandwidth that demanding embedded applications need, such as real-time control, audio and graphics, and edge processing. The device provides a large peripheral set, high-speed interfaces including USB, Ethernet and CAN-FD, and multiple ADCs and DACs, so a single part can act as the control and connectivity center of a sophisticated product. As the high-performance member of the STM32 family, it shares the STM32Cube software ecosystem with the rest of the range, so software and middleware move across the family with modest change. The part operates from 1.62 to 3.6 volts. Every device is factory-traceable and ships with an import declaration, a certificate of origin and RoHS documentation. BeiLuo holds this part in regional stock and our FAE team supports high-speed interface, memory and thermal planning.
FAE Professional Review
When a design outgrows a Cortex-M4 but does not want a full applications processor, this is the part we suggest. The Cortex-M7 with cache and double-precision FPU handles serious compute, and the tightly coupled memory keeps the real-time path deterministic. The main engineering tasks are the memory map and the high-speed interfaces, so plan those early and confirm the thermal envelope at 480 MHz.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the advantage of the Cortex-M7 core?
The Cortex-M7 adds a double-precision floating-point unit, cache and higher clock speed, which together deliver the compute and memory bandwidth that a Cortex-M4 cannot match.
Tightly coupled memory keeps the real-time path fast and deterministic.
Does it need special thermal design?
At 480 MHz the device dissipates more power than a mainstream MCU, so provide a solid ground and thermal path and confirm the enclosure can carry the heat away.
Validate the design at the worst-case temperature.
