STP110N8F6
80 V, 110 A N-channel STripFET F6 power MOSFET with very low 5.6 mOhm on-resistance in a TO-220 package.
The STP110N8F6 is an STMicroelectronics N-channel power MOSFET built on the STripFET F6 trench-gate technology, rated for 80 volts and 110 amps with a very low on-resistance of about 5.6 milliohms in a TO-220 package. The low on-resistance keeps conduction loss small even at high current, which makes the part well suited to low-voltage, high-current switching in battery-powered motor drives, DC-DC converters and load-switching circuits. The STripFET F6 technology uses a refined trench gate structure to reduce both on-resistance and gate charge, so the device switches efficiently as well as conducting efficiently. The TO-220 package is easy to mount on a heatsink, which suits the currents the part can carry, and the device is avalanche tested for ruggedness. Because the part is a standard through-hole power MOSFET, it fits designs that value thermal performance and simplicity over the smallest possible footprint. Every device is factory-traceable and ships with an import declaration, a certificate of origin and RoHS documentation. BeiLuo holds this part in regional stock and our FAE team supports gate drive, thermal and layout design.
FAE Professional Review
This MOSFET is our recommendation for high-current, low-voltage switching where conduction loss dominates. The 5.6 milliohm on-resistance is the headline number, and it is what keeps the part cool in a battery-powered drive or a high-current DC-DC stage. The TO-220 package makes the thermal design straightforward, and the avalanche rating gives margin for inductive loads. Drive the gate hard enough to reach the rated on-resistance.

Frequently Asked Questions
What gate drive does this MOSFET need?
Drive the gate to the full recommended voltage to reach the rated on-resistance, and choose the gate resistor to balance switching speed against EMI.
An undersized gate drive raises conduction loss and heat.
How do I manage the heat?
Mount the TO-220 package on a heatsink or a large copper area, and calculate the junction temperature from the power dissipation and the thermal resistance.
